Reginald B. Nicklas was born in Chambersburg, PA in 1913. He went to Greenwood Hills Chapel all his life, and was saved by the grace of the Lord at a young age. He was a pilot in his early life, and worked as a general manager at the P. Nicklas Sons furniture store in Chambersburg for around 45+ years. He served on the Board of Greenwood Hills for about 40 years, and was an elder at the local Greenwood Hills Chapel for the same length of time. He lived on the grounds, and through the years he was able to show kindness and love to many yearlong residents as well as visitors of Greenwood Hills. The Lord blessed him with 5 children, and allowed him to see 96 years of life on this earth before going home to glory in 2010.

Reginald Nicklas’ parents, J. Bishop and Rosa Nicklas, donated the land for the Greenwood Hills Bible Conference in 1931. Reginald, like his parents, had a strong desire to see families and young people know the saving knowledge of the Lord and to continue in Him through the ministry of the conference grounds.
