Dr. Paul Irwin trained as a medical doctor at University of Toronto and for many years was a partner in a Christian medical practice in Mississauga, Ontario, where he was also a founding elder of Erindale Bible Chapel. Throughout his life he was a supporter of many Christian ministries including, Camp Mini-Yo-We in Port Sydney, Ontario and Christian Adoption Services of Calgary, Alberta. He ended his working career as the Medical Director of Gulf Canada Resources in Calgary. After retirement he moved to the village of Hawkesville in the Kitchener-Waterloo area of Ontario where he remained active as a speaker and pastoral counsellor. Eventually, ill health forced him to withdraw from ministry and he spent his final years in a nursing home. He passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Elmira, Ontario.
